Slightly more relaxed after what was our 8th edition of the Primavera Sound Festival, here goes a quick share of impressions of what some people already define as “the best festival in the world”.
This year’s edition has definitely helped to consolidate the set up introduced in 2014 and optimized this year, which has allowed 175.000 people to assist and enjoy a line up of a total of 12 stages.
Shows that stood out were performances by Patti Smith, Anthony and The Johnsons with the OBC (Barcelona & Catalunya’s Symphonic Orchestra), The Strokes and The Replacements, amongst over 300 gigs that took place during the entire week in different spaces throughout the city.
Primavera Sound also topped assistance from outside of Spain, as the location of the event, the line up and services offered during the festival make it the place to be independantly of where you’re from.
From our side we’ll keep on working towards making the festival a date not to be missed on the international music calendar.
