Since the San Sebastian international film festival’s anniversary, LD Eventos is in charge of the executive production of the different galas and awards ceremonies, starting at the official film selection over to the renowned Donostia awards as well as other paralel events.
We form part of the film festivals’ team for a month each year in order to coordinate the build of the main awards ceremonies’ set, as well as production and logistical aspects of all rehearsals. We work hand in hand with the festival’s public relations, technical and artistic direction, the jury and awarded artists as well as the TV channels that transmit the program.
During this time we have witnessed moments of great emotion, by the public as well as the professionals of the film business, amongst others names such as Viggo Mortensen, Judi Dench, Danny Devito, Denzel Washington, Penelope Cruz, Meryl Streep, Glenn Close, Sigourney Weaver, Antonio Banderas, John Malkovich, Pedro Almodóvar, Viggo Mortensen, Willem Dafoe, Leonardo Sbaraglia y Paul Auster, to name just a few of the more well-known figures.
