Concert marathon: Coldplay @ Barcelona Olympic Stadium

Barcelona was enchanted by Coldplay’s 4-day concert marathon at the Olympic Stadium in May.

Beyond the music, the “Music of the Spheres” tour became an immersive experience for the audience, engaging them through light bracelets, giant interactive balloons, and visual effects designed to transform the entire stadium.

Coldplay not only brought their music to Barcelona but also demonstrated their commitment to sustainability. They introduced innovative concepts such as turning environmentalism into participative games such as interactive kinetic floors and bicycles to generate energy, as well as promoting NGOs that encourage responsible sustainability practices.

Additionally, Coldplay delivered speeches in Spanish and Catalan sign language and provided vibrating backpacks so that people with hearing impairments could also enjoy a unique immersive experience, thus creating a more inclusive atmosphere.
